Copenhagen Photo Festival presents the program

10 days of exhibitions with national and international photography are just about to begin. The full program of this year's festival is now released.

On thursday the 6th of june, this year's Copenhagen Photo Festival will open with more than 50 exhibitions around Copenhagen, Malmø and Helsingborg.
The photographic works will be installed at street level, underground in the metro trains, in galleries, museums and various types of alternative exhibition spaces. The festival goes on until the 16th of june.

In 'Photo City' at Carlsberg, exhibitions will take place over the 4000m2 big space. Here you will find The International Censured Exhibition including works selected by the festival management out of 300 applicants from 36 countries. The group exhibition State of the Art gathers the greatest danish art photographers. Among the solo exhibitions you find italian born Luca Bertis' portrait of the small danish island Ærø – the changing of a peripheral society – and this year's press photographer Jacob Erbahn's show at Fotografisk Center.
There is free entrance to 'Photo City' and the daily opening hours are 10-18.

Again this year an exciting group show with some of the leading danish documentary photographers will take place In Øksnehallen. The stories cover war, religion, sex, nature and hope – while having one thing in common: the photographers longterm commitments to their individual projects.
The show opens the 14th of june. There is free entrance to the exhibition space and the daily opening hours are 11-18 and wednesday 11-21.

The public sides of photography in the social media age is in focus – among other things with the competition 'Hipstamatic' and an exhibition of street photography made in collaboration with Distortion. Bruun Rasmussen has arranged Denmark's first photo auction and DR K will present the best photo documentaries.
