On the occasion of Louisiana’s Two Days Art festival and the museums new acquisition of German artist Thomas Demand’s photographic work Modell (2000), Thomas Demand talked with the Danish professor in architecture Carsten Thau about Demand’s art. A conversation on Demand’s artistic practice of architectural and photographic recreation of historical pictures, Albert Speer’s utopian megalomaniac ideas of the ruinous future, much more, and an anecdote about the constructor Demand’s lost battle against real nature.
