KØS X CHART Rimini Protokoll: Remote Copenhagen

Join German multimedia collective Rimini Protokoll for a newly produced collective audio walk – Remote Copenhagen – that will take visitors on a physical journey through various transit sites. Wearing headphones audience will be guided by a GPS navigator. 

Presenting a myriad of intertwined stories around artificial intelligence and group decisions in transit, Remote Copenhagen will draw attention on the station areas as sites of conflicts and negotiations, on their architectural features and on the many different passengers, employees and local residents that come into contact at such sites. 

Rimini Protokoll work in the realm of theatre, film, installation, sound and radio plays.

"Remote Copenhagen" is commissioned by KØS Museum of Art in Public Spaces and will be co-presented at CHART.

"Remote Copenhagen " is part of the upcoming exhibition project TRANSIT, which opens on 13 September 2018. 

TRANSIT will focus attention on travellers’ different experiences, terms and conditions in our present-day world of mobility, migration and globalisation. TRANSIT will include an exhibition at KØS and a range of new art projects in public spaces that respond directly to their sites at selected stations on the route from Copenhagen to Køge. 

TRANSIT is supported by Nordea-fonden, Ny Carlsbergfondet, Statens Kunstfond, Knud Højgaards Fond and Køge Kyst.


From 14 September - 2 October there will be daily tours of "Remote Copenhagen" (Monday - Saturday) co-presented by Metropolis.
